We love Apples!

We have been learning ALL about apples this week! We started out with a fun labeling activity, then got to taste some yummy apples!

The kids got to vote on their favorite type of apple...

...and then create their apples after a directed drawing. They drew all of the parts themselves and then cut them out to construct their apples. I LOVE work like this where everyone's looks so different! They are so cute! (freebie link below)

Since we are also in the middle of our 5 senses unit, we investigated our apples using our sense of sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. I love their observations. You can grab both of these FREEBIES by clicking the button at the end of this post.
